Privacy Policy

The pages on the website (‘the website’) are published by BurgsDesigns (‘us’ or ‘we’) on behalf of Global Maintenance Upper Spencer Gulf Inc (GMUSG). BurgsDesigns (‘us’ or ‘we’) will not collect any information about individuals.

Access and Modification

Under the Privacy Act, members have the right to seek access to information which GMUSG holds about you (although there are some exceptions to this). GMUSG’s Members Only Area allows for members to personally view and modify information or business contact details. Members need to be aware that company information, including contact details which is published via the members only area can be viewed by visitors though the capability database search tool. GMUSG will not be held responsible for content published by its members.

For legal and administrative reasons, GMUSG may also store records that contain personal information in our archives. Access to these records (which may not be current records) held by GMUSG can be made by you upon a written request and posted to GMUSG. But if you do so, we may charge you the cost of providing access to these records.

Stored Personal Information

GMUSG takes precautionary steps to ensure the security of personal information held by us from such risks as loss of data or unauthorised access, destruction, use, modifications or disclosure. Our Members only Area is password protected and if personal information is held on hardcopy files, access is restricted to GMUSG personnel staff only. GMUSG only permits your details to be accessed by authorised personnel.

Non-Member Information

Sometimes, GMUSG needs to collect personal information about individuals who are not members. This will usually arise where we collect the name and business contact details of a person who is the contact in a company with which they would like further information from our website via the use of our Contact Us form. GMUSG´s policy is to only use personal information collected from non-members for the business purpose for which it was collected.

Membership Agreement

PLEASE READ THIS MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT BEFORE USING THIS SERVICE. BY CONTINUING TO USE http://www.gmusg.com, YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT:

1. GENERAL RULES
   1. By using the gmusg member service available on the GMUSG website http://www.gmusg.com (hereinafter called GMUSG), you agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement and any rules that might be posted from time to time on GMUSG, in order to become or to remain a Member of GMUSG.
   
   
   2. GMUSG reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add or delete portions of this Membership Agreement at any time. Notification of changes in service will be posted on GMUSG, or sent via e-mail. By continuing to use GMUSG after the posting of such Notices, you agree to be bound by such changes.
   
   
2. DOWNLOADS Members have the opportunity to download/view Presentations and Newsletters in PDF (Portable Document Format). GMUSG does not warrant the document the member downloads as fit for any purpose, nor does it warrant that the document will achieve any particular objective, nor does it warrant the truth, fairness or efficacy of any statements contained within the document. If the member downloads a document (s)he is agreeing to accept full responsibility for the document, its lawfulness, compliance and completeness, and to absolve and release GMUSG from any responsibility or liability for the document and for any use that you may make of it.


3. MEMBERSHIP RIGHTS When you become a Member of GMUSG you gain access to a member´s only area and any associated information and material being offered on GMUSG for one year following acceptance of your Membership application. GMUSG may however change or suspend any associated information or material that might have been available on GMUSG.

This privacy policy may change from time to time.
